Scheduling and Rooms
Scheduling turns the academic structure into a weekly timetable. Build it only after the active term, sections, teachers, and subject allocations are ready.
Available now. Last reviewed: 15 August 2026.
Prepare rooms and time slots
Use the Rooms tab to create rooms that staff will recognise, such as Library or Science Lab A. Include useful equipment details where they help scheduling decisions.
In the master schedule, create time slots for each teaching period and mark breaks clearly. Match the timetable to the school's active days in System Settings.
Build the master schedule
Place teaching into the week
- Select the class or section you are scheduling.
- Choose an available subject allocation. This identifies the subject, teacher, section, and term.
- Place it on the appropriate day and time slot.
- Select a room when the lesson needs one.
- Review the timetable with the teacher and correct errors before it is relied on by students.
After publishing the schedule
Check a sample teacher and student schedule. If a lesson is missing, work backward: confirm the active term, section, subject allocation, time slot, then schedule entry. This order avoids rebuilding a timetable for a problem caused by missing setup data.
