School Admin Guide
This guide is for the person who sets up and maintains one school in Agiled. A School Admin manages the people, school structure, timetable, assessment setup, and records that let daily teaching run smoothly.
Available now. Last reviewed: 15 August 2026.
What you are responsible for
- Creating and maintaining accounts for staff, teachers, students, and parents.
- Defining the academic year, terms, subjects, classes, rooms, and timetable.
- Assigning the right people to the right classes and giving them suitable access.
- Setting up grading rules before teachers enter marks.
- Protecting student identity, health, and family information.
A healthy operating rhythm
Recommended routine
- Check the dashboard for unassigned students, an active term, and recent account activity.
- Resolve missing class, teacher, subject, or schedule assignments before the school day begins.
- Review access only when a person's job changes; avoid giving broad permissions “just in case.”
- Export or import data only through approved school processes and keep files in a secure location.
Before making changes
Most setup work has a downstream effect. For example, a teacher cannot receive a class schedule until the academic term, section, subject allocation, and time slots exist. Start with First-Time School Setup if your school is new to Agiled.
What this guide covers
Use the menu to learn a module in the order you need it. Each page explains what the module means in school terms, the information it changes, and what to check afterward. If something does not work as expected, begin with Troubleshooting and Glossary.
