Dashboard and Routine Administration
The School Admin dashboard gives a short view of the school's current operating state. Use it to find exceptions that need attention, rather than as a substitute for checking the detailed modules.
Available now. Last reviewed: 15 August 2026.
Read the summary cards
- Total Students and Total Teachers show the current account counts.
- Total Classes shows the number of sections.
- Unassigned Students highlights student accounts that have not been placed in a section. Treat a non-zero count as a setup task.
- The academic-year panel shows the active year, its terms, and the active term's progress and remaining days.
Use verified quick actions
The dashboard links to User Management, Sections, Scheduling, Roles & Permissions, and System Settings. It also links to Academic Years from the year panel. Use the sidebar for Subjects, Grading, and School Configuration.
Daily checklist
At the beginning of a school day
- Confirm the displayed academic year and term are correct.
- Open the unassigned-student count and place students into the correct section.
- Review recent users if accounts were created or imported recently.
- Investigate teacher reports of missing classes by checking the section, subject allocation, and timetable in that order.
When the dashboard shows a problem
It identifies where to investigate; the correction belongs in the relevant setup module. Avoid deleting accounts or sections simply to make a dashboard count look correct.
