Developmental Philosophy

Tarbiyah (holistic character nurturing) focuses on celebrating positive moral choices, social responsibility, empathy, and personal growth:

Affirmative & Encouraging: Tarbiyah notes record positive, observable milestones (e.g., helping a struggling peer, returning found property, demonstrating patience during conflict).
Not a Demerit System: Agiled strictly prevents Tarbiyah from functioning as a punitive demerit or disciplinary tracker. Disciplinary infractions belong in administrative pastoral workflows, not in religious development records.

Every Tarbiyah entry has an explicit privacy scope configured at creation:

Navigate to /islamic-learning/tarbiyah/teach and choose your student.
Select the relevant character value (e.g., Sidq / Honesty, Ihsan / Excellence, Rahmah / Compassion, or Sabr / Patience).
Write a factual, constructive observation describing the positive behavior observed.
Assign the appropriate Privacy Scope: Internal Staff (pastoral/counselor only), School Team (all active teachers), or Family Shared (published to parent weekly digest).
Click Submit Observation.
