Module Activation

The Islamic Learning Suite is designed as a modular, tenant-isolated system. School administrators can enable the suite globally and activate individual components according to the school's curriculum and operational capacity.

Activate Islamic Learning modules

  1. Navigate to Islamic Learning Settings (/islamic-learning/settings).
  2. Toggle Enable Islamic Learning Suite to activate the module namespace.
  3. Select which learning pathways to enable across Quran & Hifz, Tajweed Rubrics, Islamic Studies Curriculum, Practical Ibadah, Tarbiyah Development, and Activities & Certificates.
  4. Click Save settings to apply activation immediately across all school sessions.

Strict Tenancy Guardrails

The Islamic Learning Suite enforces multi-tenant boundary checks across every database operation:

  • Tenant RLS: Every record is constrained by the school's unique TenantId.
  • GiST Non-Overlap Constraints: PostgreSQL GiST exclusions prevent overlapping assessment windows or conflicting recitation group memberships for any student.
  • Append-Only Auditability: Daily recitation logs, rubric assessments, and tarbiyah notes use immutable revisions. Corrections append new entries with audit timestamps rather than destructively overwriting previous teacher notes.
