Troubleshooting, Escalation, and Glossary

Begin with the source record, active academic context, and decision owner. Do not resolve a leadership issue by creating duplicate records, changing high-impact settings informally, or sharing sensitive data more widely.

Troubleshooting

The dashboard has no active year or term

Pause term-dependent interpretation. Ask School Admin to verify the academic year, term dates, and active school context.

A dashboard or report conflicts with detailed records

Use the detailed record for immediate investigation, document the discrepancy, and ask the responsible owner to assess the data issue.

Students are unassigned or a new account looks unexpected

Ask School Admin to review enrollment, grade, section capacity, teacher assignment, account identity, and role without exposing credentials or personal data.

An admissions case is incomplete or duplicated

Return it through the approved Staff/Admin intake process. Do not promise a placement or use a second application to correct the first.

A schedule, exam, or academic-period change could affect many people

Treat it as high risk. Confirm scope, conflicts, authority, communication owner, and verification steps with School Admin before proceeding.

A report exposes more information than needed

Stop sharing it, reduce the scope, and follow the school’s secure data-handling and retention process.
