Versioned Tajweed Rubrics
Tajweed assessment requires clear, objective criteria that reflect classical phonetic principles. Schools configure structured rubrics at /islamic-learning/tajweed/rubrics.
Build a Tajweed rubric
- Navigate to Tajweed Rubrics (
/islamic-learning/tajweed/rubrics). - Click Create Rubric and name the assessment standard (e.g., Primary Tajweed Foundations or Advanced Recitation Standards).
- Add evaluation criteria across Makharij al-Huruf (articulation points), Sifat (letter traits), Nun/Meem Sakinah rules, Ahkam al-Madd (prolongation), and Waqf/Ibtida (stopping and starting).
- Define performance scale levels (Beginning, Developing, Proficient, and Exemplary).
- Click Publish Rubric. The rubric is locked and assigned Version 1.
