Gradebook and Review Submission

Gradebook and Review Submission

Gradebook lets teachers enter assessment results for their assigned subject classes. Teachers save editable drafts, then submit complete grades for authorised review. Publishing and returning grades are handled by Staff or Admin.

Available now. Last reviewed: 19 August 2026.

Enter and save grades

Create accurate grade drafts

  1. Open Gradebook and select the correct subject allocation.
  2. Check the assessment template, maximum score, weight, and student list before entering a result.
  3. Enter the score or mastery result and a concise learning comment when needed.
  4. Save drafts regularly and confirm the saved state before changing class or leaving the page.
  5. Review weighted results and grade values as a reasonableness check, not as a replacement for checking the source score.

Submit for review

When the selected grades are complete, use Submit Grades. Submitted grades become locked so the reviewing role can check or publish them. If a correction is needed later, request that an authorised Staff or Admin role return the grades to draft.

What happens next

A submitted grade is a locked record for authorised review. Corrections must return through the approved workflow rather than creating a second entry.

For missing templates, grade scales, rosters, or broader grading configuration problems, see Teacher troubleshooting.

Troubleshooting

A score looks wrong

Recheck the student, template, maximum score, weight, and assessment evidence before saving.

A grade was saved but should not be submitted

Correct the editable draft before submission.

A submitted grade needs correction

Ask the authorised reviewer to return it to draft; do not create another grade entry for the same assessment.
