Parent Service Case Tracking
Parent Desk helps Staff organise family requests and concerns. Treat each case as a coordination record: identify the right family, capture only necessary facts, and hand off sensitive or decision-based work promptly.
Available now. Last reviewed: 19 August 2026.
Track a family request
Create or update a case
- Search for an existing open case before creating a new one.
- Confirm the correct student, guardian, and section without relying only on a similar name.
- Record a concise subject and factual description of the request.
- Set or update the case status as the school works on it, and add an internal note when a handoff or follow-up is needed.
- Use your school's approved communication process to update the family and close the case only after the requested action is confirmed.
What happens next
A case status shows internal progress. It does not replace the school's responsibility to use approved communication and safeguarding procedures.

Troubleshooting
The request needs a decision
Hand it to the Principal, School Admin, or designated owner and keep the case open until the outcome is confirmed.
